Our methodology for creating a data set of skinny dipping locations in the USA was based on evaluating each spot according to its characteristics. We have created an index score of 100 points, with each category contributing to the overall score. 

The categories include Climate Likeability, Average Summer Air Temperature, Average Summer Water Temperature, Pollution Level, Blue Flag Status, Crime Rate, Average Hotel Cost, Beach Quality Score, Weather Score, Safety Score, and Hotel Cost Score.

The index score was calculated by taking an average of the above categories.  After examining each location, we provided a summary for visitors and a few words to describe the spot. 

In conclusion, our methodology was based on objectively evaluating each skinny dipping location according to its characteristics. We then used this data to create an index score of 100 points that gave a comprehensive overview of each location.
